M. Brent Walker
Brent joined the firm as an associate in 2007 after graduating from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While at Cumberland, Brent was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and a Research Associate with the Cumberland Institute for Biotechnology, Law and Ethics. Brent also earned Cumberland's Certificate of Trial Advocacy.
Prior to law school, Brent attended the University of Georgia where he obtained his B.S. in Microbiology with a focus on industrial and environmental microbiology. After college, Brent earned a commercial contractor's license in Georgia and worked in construction, specializing in the historic preservation of commercial buildings.
Brent is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Brent is also actively involved in the local community through the Young Lawyers section of the Alabama State Bar, the Friends of St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Junior Patrons of the Birmingham Museum of Art, and the Junior Board of the Cornerstone Schools of Alabama.
