Ralph Bohanan Jr.
Ralph was born in Oxford, England the son of United States military parents. He graduated from West Point High School.
Ralph graduated from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 1987. While in law school, Ralph participated in many mock trial competitions. Ralph was the winner of the Samford University Cumberland School of Law James O'Haley trial competition. Ralph's trial team then won the southeast regional mock trial championships sponsored by the American Association for Justice. Thereafter, Ralph's team won the prestigious national mock trial championship held in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the American Association for Justice.
Upon graduating from law school, Ralph began his law career as a defense attorney exclusively representing physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits. After two years, Ralph elected to change direction and began practicing in a large Birmingham, Alabama personal injury firm wherein he became a partner. Four years ago, Ralph chose to open his own law firm. Since 1989, Ralph has been involved in claims alleging: faulty products, automobile crashworthiness, vehicle rollovers, medical malpractice, insurance fraud and bad faith, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, workers compensation claims, alcohol related accidents, third party work related injuries and personal injuries of a large scope.
Ralph has spoke at many seminars wherein the topics have been Automobile and Truck and Semi-Truck Accidents, Workers Compensation and On the Job Injuries, Medical Malpractice and Legal Discovery Issues.
Ralph is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
